Welcome to Route 66 Thunderbirds

1957 black Thunderbird There were 21, 380 Thunderbirds built in 1957. Many of the 1957 T-birds were built with hard tops, in addition to the convertible soft top. Most all of the hard tops came with portholes, a no-charge option on late '55s, '56s, and '57s. This raven black 1957 was special ordered by a California customer that specified no portholes. It was delivered in February 1957 by Crenshaw Motors in Los Angeles, California. The original owners title has been passed down to the third owner, Marion Davidson, who purchased the car in 1980 with 20, 500 miles and completely original, except for the tires and muffler system. It was on loan to the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, Oklahoma for four years. The original buyers order and additional information on this vehicle can be seen as No. 11454 in the Thunderbird Registry.
